Shaunak started Cnamon because he personally thought that food companies should not use hurried methods but rather act honourably. He has stated, "If a product bears your name, you can call it to reflect all that your expectations are about." He uses a straightforward approach, sorting through sourcing at the source location, requiring collaboration, questioning the content of the raw material, and prioritising trust over quick growth. Cnamon's emphasis on responsibility, discipline, and unambiguous direction is evident in the selection, processing, and display of his products. He is very involved in ensuring that the products that consumers buy are sustainable, have prominent labels, and are sourced responsibly. According to him, Cnamon is a longer-term investment of resources to produce something that is reliable and genuine in its own unique way; it is not a business for noise and scale or "fast-fashion."

Cnamon, a clean-label food brand founded on the idea that our diet should be straightforward, truthful, and truly nourishing, was co-founded by Bhavik Jain. Having worked in operations, sales, and community development for many years, the foundation of Cnamon is now built on Bhavik's extensive knowledge of consumer behaviour, trust, and brand positioning. He means he treats food with intention, not as a quick fix, but as a way to eat. In his mind, his approach to putting food on the table revolves around intentionality. He prioritises tradition, openness, and stringent filtering over following trends. The fact that every product in Cnamon's collection embodies the idea of challenging shortcuts, that integrity will always make shortcuts less desirable, that integrity is more important than hype, and that you're intended to be more significant than anything that is merely exaggerated and develop a brand that consumers may eventually rely on. For Bhavik, Cnamon is more than simply a company; it's a conscious effort to bring clarity and confidence back to commonplace cuisine.
